Operation Encompass At Juniper House School
At Juniper House School, we collaborate with the Thames Valley Police and Children’s Services to identify and support pupils who have experienced domestic violence in their households.
This initiative, known as Operation Encompass, aims to safeguard and assist children and young people who have witnessed or been involved in domestic abuse incidents. By sharing relevant information with local schools, we enable designated safeguarding leads to engage with affected children and provide necessary support within a safe and familiar environment.

On receipt of any information, the DSL will decide on the appropriate support the child requires.

Immediate and Permanent Physical Harm:
Children living in situations of family violence can suffer immediate and permanent physical harm, including accidental injuries or injuries resulting from their attempts to intervene during incidents. In extreme cases, domestic violence can even lead to death.
