Building Relationships With Families

The Juniper House School Way is about meeting the needs of the whole family — ensuring that every student’s outcomes are achieved, and families feel supported during their journey .

A Partnership Approach

At Juniper House School, we believe that strong partnerships with families are at the heart of every child’s success. We know that securing a place in a specialist school such as Juniper House School or Haywards Farm can be an emotional and, at times, financially challenging journey. Many of our families also live at a distance and may experience social or geographical isolation.

We are committed to supporting families from the very beginning. Our approach is designed to offer reassurance and guidance throughout:

Assessment & Transitions –
A carefully planned process that ensures families feel welcomed, informed and supported.

Ongoing Communication –
Regular opportunities to share progress, celebrate achievements, and address challenges together.

Daily Support –
Consistent structures in place to ensure children and families are fully understood and their needs met.

To strengthen these relationships, each family is connected with dedicated parental figures within the school. These trusted adults act as consistent points of contact, offering understanding, advocacy and daily support. This personalised approach helps build trust, fosters a sense of belonging, and ensures every child and family is valued as part of the Juniper House School community.
